Come see Joshua cut up the stage as the beloved Barber of Seville.  Joshua is delighted to be spending the second part of his 11-12 season making two opera company debuts singing Figaro.  His first debut is with Vancouver Opera in a new production, directed by Dennis Garnhum, set in a 1940s movie studio in Seville.  René Barbera, winner of 2011’s Operalia, and Sandra Piques Eddy join him in this delightful and irresistible opera buffa.  In April, Joshua makes his debut with Lyric Opera of Kansas City in a more traditional production, conducted by artistic director Ward Holmquist, and is joined once again by Sandra Piques Eddy as Rosina.  Joshua is thrilled to be performing in Kansas City’s brand-new opera house in The Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.
